Honey is one of the materials that players can collect from Pals and is used mainly for crafting items that are meant to fix up your Pals who are no longer in good condition.
When it comes to creating certain medicines, Honey is sought out by many players as these are key ingredients in making them.
Not all Pals will drop Honey when they are defeated, which makes it important to target specific ones if you need to get your hands on this material.
How To Get Honey?
1) Defeating Pals
Honey can be obtained in two ways, which is either by hunting insect-like Grass Pals to defeat or by capturing to get the ingredient as a drop from them.
Most of these Pals include Cinnamoth as one of the easiest sources while Beegarde and Elizabee can be encountered near each other and can also be hunted.
A stronger insect-like Pal known as Warsect provides a larger amount of Honey dropped but is more difficult to defeat than the others.
2) Assigning Cinnamoth To A Ranch
The best way to get Honey is to capture Beegarde Pals as these have the Farming Skill, which means they can be assigned to a Ranch.
Once a Beegarde is assigned to a Ranch, it will often drop Honey instead of the other items that you may have gotten used to with other Farming Pals.
Having 1 or 2 Beegarde at a Ranch will provide you with enough Honey for whatever you need now and then, especially when you need to make Cake.

Where To Find Beegarde Pals?
Beegarde can often be found around the Verdant Brook region, which is located north of the Gobfin’s Turf waypoint and runs around the Frozenbound Mountains.
Going around the whole island will give you a huge opportunity to come across not only Beegarde but also Elizabee if you intend to farm a lot of Honey.
It is still best to go around and capture Beegarde so you can just keep them at a Ranch for an unlimited supply of Honey.
Honey Uses
Honey can be consumed to restore 10 Nutrition and 3 Sanity, which makes it a good way to feed your Pals and help recover their Sanity.
Aside from being eaten, players have found Honey as an important ingredient that is used for making Cake at a Cooking Station.
Cake is a requirement for those who plan on breeding Pals, making Honey a necessary ingredient to farm as soon as possible.

While Honey does not have that many uses when it comes to cooking, the need for it to make Cake puts it on top of the priority list for Pal Breeders.
If you have a large supply of Honey, this can substitute the other food in the Feed Box to ensure that not only Nutrition is provided but Sanity as well.
Getting 2 Beegardes is perfect for Honey farming at a Ranch but you should be careful when trying to capture them as they tend to approach you and self-destruct.
