Zoe & Grizzbolt is a Tower Boss that players are required to defeat during the introductory quests of Palworld and pose as one of the earliest challenges in the game.
This boss is a combination of Zoe, the Rayne Syndicate Officer, and Grizzbolt, a Pal that she rides during the fight within the tower.
Facing Zoe & Grizzbolt will provide players with a good boost in experience as well as provide them with Ancient Technology Points that they will need later.
Zoe & Grizzbolt can be defeated by the time you reach Level 12 but this may prove to be difficult for players who are new to the game.
Players who are around Level 15 to 20 will have an easy time taking out Zoe & Grizzbolt, especially with Pals that are around the same level.
Zoe & Grizzbolt Location
You will be able to challenge Zoe & Grizzbolt at the Tower of the Rayne Syndicate, which is located in the Windswept Uphills around (111, -431) on higher ground.
This is located near the Rayne Syndicate Tower Entrance, which can be found by making your way northwest from the Plateau Beginnings.
Strategy to Fight With Zoe & Grizzbolt
Zoe & Grizzbolt will have 30,550 health points and will continuously run after you attempting to hit you with different attacks, most of them dealing Electric Damage.
This boss will attempt to use Electric attacks such as Electric Ball, Shockwave, Spark Blast, Lightning Streak, Lock-on Laser, and more.
Grizzbolt will use its Special Skill called Lightning Claw whenever its cooldown has finished, which causes it to leap and attack twice before leaping a third time to perform a slam.
During the fight, Zoe & Grizzbolt will occasionally run up to you to use Shockwave and will continuously attack you with the rest of their skills from afar.
Weakness of Zoe & Grizzbolt
A good way to deal critical damage to this boss is to time your shots right if you use a ranged weapon in the fight and target Zoe on Grizzbolt’s back.
Grizzbolt is an Electric Pal, which makes it good to use a Ground Pal to deal more damage as well as take less damage from Electric Attacks.
Rewards for Defeating Zoe & Grizzbolt
Defeating Zoe & Grizzbolt for the first time will provide you with a large amount of experience and additionally, you will also gain 5 Ancient Technology Points.
Verdict
Grizzbolt seems to be much faster than most Pals and this can make the fight a bit challenging since it can catch up to you most of the time, especially with Lightning Claw.
The way Grizzbolt unleashes its attacks makes it a bit hard to target Zoe at first but you should be able to hit her if you aim where she will be during Grizzbolt’s animations.
Zoe & Grizzbolt is meant to be the first Tower Boss that you fight in the game and is the easiest of all 5 Tower Bosses to beat.
