Some Pals are great when it comes to certain tasks but Vixy is a bit unique and a big help to players during the earlier parts of the game.
Acting as more of a scavenger, Vixy is a Neutral Pal that is capable of finding items for players and may even gather from Plantations that are ready to be harvested.
While this Pal does not spawn in many locations, finding and capturing it is relatively easy as it may be encountered at lower levels.

Vixy can be a great companion to have but is often similar to most early-game Pals when added to a party that you can summon in battle.
When at your base, this Pal can gather crops that are ready to be collected from Plantations, which is good if no other Pals are available.
One of the best uses for Vixy is to place it in a ranch as it can provide you with certain materials that can be useful when you have just started.
Partner Skill
Vixy has the “Dig Here!” Partner Skill, which causes it to dig up items from the ground when it has been assigned to a ranch.
The items that it digs up are often Pal Spheres, Arrows, and Gold Coins, which can be considered as an unlimited supply of these items.
Having more than one Vixy assigned to a Ranch will increase the items that you can get further as you can return at any time to collect them unless they have been transported.
Work Suitability
Vixy can be assigned to a base for collecting crops from Plantations but is often used at a Ranch to obtain certain items over time.

Vixy can be a great companion that may accompany you as you are starting and searching for other Pals to add to your party.
Leaving this Pal at a Ranch is a good way to get extra supplies that you can use later on to capture Pals instead of crafting them.
These Pals will automatically work at a Ranch but may be interrupted if there are Plantations, which makes it best to pick them up and toss them at the Ranch to have them focus on it.
