Surfent Terra is a Ground Pal based on its original variant with its difference being having golden protrusions coming out of its body and the ability to unleash Ground Attacks.
This Pal may have lost its ability to provide structures with water but in return it can utilize both Ground and Dragon attacks, making it efficient against certain Pals.
Some players often go after this Pal due to its ability to fight while others resort to collecting it to complete their Paldeck.
Surfent Terra Location
Surfent Terra can only be found around the Dessicated Desert but you may also obtain this Ground Pal by breeding it.
How To Breed Surfent Terra?
The first step to breeding a Surfent Terra is to get its original variant, Surfent and this will need to be combined in a Breeding Farm with a Dumud.
Once the Surfent and Dumud have bred, they will produce an egg that you can hatch, which will end up being a Surfent Terra.
Surfent Terra Uses
Surfent Terra has lost some of its uses as the original Surfent could ride over water better and could provide water to structures.
Aside from the Ground and Dragon attacks that this Pal can use in battle, it does not appear to have that many uses afterward aside from being a rideable mount.
Regardless of the downsides of having a Surfent Terra, it can be quite useful when you are fighting Electric Pals since this Pal no longer has a weakness to Electric Damage.
Partner Skill
Surfent Terra may be ridden thanks to its Sand Swimmer Partner Skill, which requires you first to craft the required saddle to ride this Pal.
To ride Surfent Terra, you will need to learn the Surfent Terra Saddle and will have to craft it at a Pal Workbench.
Once a Surfent Terra Saddle has been crafted, it will go straight to your Key Item inventory and you will now be able to ride Surfent Terra.

Surfent Terra lacks several Work Suitability Skills and is only capable of gathering crops from a Plantation.

Verdict
Surfent Terra’s main differences are that it is more of a Ground Pal rather than a Water Pal like its original.
The removed uses make Surfent Terra less of a useful Pal at the base and more of one that you would instead use while adventuring.
The combination of Ground and Dragon Attacks can be quite useful, especially when in a fight since Surfent does not suffer extra damage from Ice Attacks.
