One of the stronger Pals that you may encounter mid game in Palworld is Penking, which has been thought to be related to Pengullet but isn’t.
Penking is a Water and Ice Pal that can be encountered as a Dungeon Boss but also spawns at one of the Wildlife Sanctuaries near Palpagos Island.
This Pal can be a great addition to your team and is often a good addition to any base due to its Work Suitability and ability to fight off attackers.

Penking Uses
Penking has a higher Watering Skill (Work Suitability) thanks to some of the earlier Pals that you will find, making it better at a base when it comes to providing water to structures.
All of its Work Suitability Skills allow it to do tasks better at your base as well, which includes crafting, building, and even mining.
Penking can provide you with more drops when you defeat Fire Pals, which happens thanks to its Partner Skill called Brave Sailor.

Penking’s Partner Skill is called Brave Sailor, which takes effect whenever a Fire Pal is defeated as this provides you with more items.
This means that defeating a Fire Pal when Penking is with you will give you a better chance to get more materials and other items from them.
When farming certain items from Fire Pals, having Penking with you will make things easier and may even result in you getting rarer items from them.

Penking is a great Water and Ice Pal to have at your base, especially when it comes to Plantations since it can take care of several of them.
Since Penking has a higher Watering Skill (Level 2), it can be useful during the earlier stages when putting out fires that enemies set to your base.
One of the additional uses for Penking is breeding as combining this Pal with Bushi will provide you with Ground Eggs that hatch into Anubis.
