There are certain Dungeon Boss dungeons that you may encounter in Palworld and one of the first ones is where you find the Penking, Pioneer of the Frozen Sea Dungeon Boss.
This Level 15 Ice and Water Pal bears a resemblance to the Pengullet Pals that you may have come across during the earlier stages of the game and is stronger than them.
With a combination of Ice and Water, this Dungeon Boss can be trouble for players who have just started in the game but can be a great addition to your party or base.
Penking Location
Unlike the other Dungeon Bosses that you may encounter in the game, the Penking Dungeon Boss is one of the first ones that you encounter in a dungeon.
You can find this dungeon, which is called the Sealed Realm of the Frozen Wings north of the Rayne Syndicate Tower Entrance waypoint. (114, -355)
Fighting Penking, Pioneer of the Frozen Sea
Upon entering the Sealed Realm of Rozen Wings, Penking will attack you as soon as it notices you inside the dungeon.
This Level 15 Dungeon Boss will also be accompanied by Level 11 Pengullets that will attack you as soon as the fight begins.
Penking has an exclusive Ice Skill called Emperor Slide, which causes it to leap up and perform a slide toward you and this can be dodged.
It also uses the Iceberg Skill, which causes an Ice Lands to come out of the ground after the area is marked for a short amount of time.
Aside from its Ice Skills, Penking can use the Aqua Gun skill and this launches a water projectile towards your location.
It is best to take out the Pengullet Pals before taking out Penking to avoid taking damage from multiple enemies in the dungeon.
Penking Dungeon Boss Drops
Regardless if you take out the Pengullets, as long as you defeat Penking or capture it, you will be able to get the following items:
- Ancient Civilization Parts
- Ice Organ
- Precious Pelt
Verdict
Penking can be quite the foe to face, especially if you are around Level 15 or below as its attack can be quite devastating at this point.
The Pengullets can be avoided but it might be better to take them out first since they will be launching projectiles at you during the fight.
Players can resort to capturing the Penking early by fighting it in this dungeon as it makes as a good worker at your base for the Crusher and Plantations.
