Necromus is a Field Boss that you may encounter during the later parts of the game and is known as the Dark Knight of Legend.
It is a Dark Pal that focuses more on offense unlike Paladius and is much easier to defeat but may also deal a lot of damage to you.
Challenging Necromus will give you the chance to get a large amount of experience and some materials while capturing it will make it a great addition to your party.
Necromus Location
Necromus and Paladius spawn around the same location, which is around (447, 678) to the northern part of the Dessicated Desert.
Both of these Level 50 enemies can be seen roaming the area and once you grab the attention of one of these Field Bosses, the other will become aggressive towards you as well.
Fighting Necromus, Dark Knight of Legend
Once you begin fighting Necromus and Paladius, this Dark Pal will continuously attack you with all of its Active Skills.
Necromus makes use of Shadow Burst (Dark), Spirit Fire (Fire), and Spirit Flame (Dark) often while waiting for its other attacks that are on cooldown.
Its more powerful Dark attacks include Dark Laser, which fires a continuous beam at you as well as Nightmare Ball, a large devastating projectile that deals a lot of damage.
This Field Boss can unleash Rock Lance when you are in range and may utilize its Exclusive Skill called Twin Spears, causing Necromus to charge forward while slashing.
Necromus is the easiest of the two Field Bosses to defeat since it does not have extra protection but getting headshots will be difficult due to its helmet.
As a Dark Pal, Necromus will take extra damage from Dragon Attacks, which can be a huge advantage in the fight.

Once you take out Necromus by defeating or capturing it, you will get a large amount of experience as well as the following materials:
- Ancient Civilization Parts
- Pal Metal Ingot
- Large Pal Soul
- Precious Entrails
Verdict
Even if Necromus may not have the same defense that Paladius has, it is still very durable and can take a lot of damage before being defeated or captured.
Necromus is often the first Field Boss among the two that you defeat but this doesn’t mean that it can deal a great amount of damage.
Capturing Necromus can provide you with a great Pal to use in battle or you may deploy it in your base to gather Lumber and Stone as well as for defending it.
