Palworld Max Level (Pals, Character & Stats)

Palworld offers a huge range of elements that allow you to progress with your character as they explore Palpagos Island with their Pals.

Catching Pals, defeating enemies, and doing a lot more in the game provide you with ways to level up, which is essential for progression.

Increasing your level in Palworld will allow you to take on tougher challenges and help you survive the more difficult parts of the island.

Palworld Character Max Level

The max level that characters can reach as of the Sakurajima Update is 55 but it used to be 50 before the update, which now allows you to add more stats.

Your character’s level allows you to have stronger Pals since their level will be tied to yours and if a Pal has a higher level than your character, their level will be synced to yours.

The level of your character also determines the technology that you can unlock, giving you more structures to build and items to craft as you become stronger.

Palworld Pal Max Level

The max level of your Pals may reach 55 but will always be synced to your max level if they have gained more experience or if they were captured with a high level.

Pals will level up just as your character does and will often gain experience by just being in your party whenever you gain experience.

Your Pal’s level will determine what skills they learn as well as how their stats increase, making higher-level Pals stronger than ones with a lower level.

How To Level Up in Palworld?

The best ways for you to level up fast in Palworld would be to catch Pals and to defeat the Tower Bosses as these give a lot of experience.

Capturing Pals at least 12 times will guarantee a high amount of experience, and this is because of the Capture bonus feature. (Pals in the party gain experience too)

Defeating Tower Bosses can be a bit difficult but give you a good amount of experience, which will also affect all the Pals in your party.

Other ways to gain experience include:

  • Completing quests
  • Building structures
  • Crafting items
  • Defeating enemies (humans and Pals)
  • Defeating Field Bosses
  • Defeating Dungeon Bosses

Palworld Character Stats

There are 6 stats that characters have in Palworld, which include Health, Stamina, Attack, Defense, Work Speed, and Weight.

Every time your character levels up, they can assign a stat point to one of the stats that they want to increase, which improves your character the more you level up.

The following are the starting stats for characters as well as the growth they gain from applying points in each of the stats.

Stat

Base Value Max Stat Value

Stat Gain Per Point

HP

100 5000 100
Stamina 100 590

10

Attack

100 198 2
Work Speed 100 2550

50

Weight

300 2750

50

When it comes to your character’s defense, this cannot be increased with stat points but instead, you will need to equip better armor. (Head and Body gear)

Palworld Pal Stats

Pals have 3 stats, which are Attack, Defense, and Work Speed and these will increase along with the Pal’s level.

A Pal with a higher level will always have stronger stats compared to lower-level ones but they will not always have the same values.

Sometimes Pals with the same level will have slightly different stats from one another, which are often considered important when it comes to breeding.

Stat Effects

Each stat determines the efficiency of your character and Pals in certain ways, which makes it important to choose your character’s stats wisely.

  • Health – Your total amount of Health Points that will be reduced when you take damage, which results in your death if they drop below 1.
  • Attack – Determines the overall amount of damage that your character or Pal can do, which is affected by your weapons or your Pal’s Passive Skills.
  • Stamina – The overall amount of energy you have that depletes when doing certain actions such as attacking, running, jumping, gliding, and climbing.
  • Defense – Determines the overall amount of damage you receive after it has been reduced, which results in you taking less damage as this value increases.
  • Work Speed – Determines how quickly your character or Pals may complete work, which increases as the value of this stat does.
  • Weight – This stat determines the overall weight capacity of your character, which allows them to carry a certain amount of weight before they are slowed down.

Verdict

As you progress in Palworld, the level of your character and Pals will increase but things are a bit different when it comes to Pals since only those in your base and party gain experience.

Pals at a base will gain experience as they work or if enemies are defeated within your base while those in your party will get experience whenever you do.

To progress to the more difficult parts of the game, you will want to make sure that your level increases, or else you may have trouble fighting tougher enemies.
