If you have encountered some of the Melpaca that roam around, you may be surprised to find out that there is a larger Field Boss Variant.
Kingpaca, Supreme Fluff Commander is a Level 23 Field Boss that can be found in the Windswept Hills and serves as one of the more challenging Pals you can encounter.
Defeating or capturing this Field Boss can get you some good rewards such as experience and various drops from Kingpaca.
Kingpaca Location
Kingpaca can be found in the Windswept Hills, where it may be found at its spawn location (49, -460) near the Small Village waypoint.
You will find Kingpaca in an open area where it can be seen roaming with Melpaca in the area along with other Pals nearby that may be aggressive such as Rushoar.
Fighting Kingpaca, Supreme Fluff Commander
Kingpaca may appear to be a large fluffy Pal but this doesn’t mean it isn’t dangerous, especially when it unleashes its Power Bomb (Neutra) attack.
It will often use Power Shot (Neutral) to unleash a projectile at you every few seconds while also adding its Kingly Slam (Neutral) into its attacks.
Watch out for Kingly Slam since this will cause Kingpaca to leap into the air and slam the ground when it lands.
Aiming for hits head will allow you to deal extra damage to it while Dark Attacks are also effective since it is a Neutral Pal.
Kingpaca Field Boss Drops
After you have either captured or defeated Kingpaca, you can expect to get the following items from its drop table:
- Ancient Civilization Parts
- Wool
- Precious Pelt
Verdict
Kingpaca may seem to move slowly but it is large and can cover ground quickly and you will want to watch out for the Melpaca that fights alongside it.
It would be a good idea to clear out smaller threats near Kingpaca so that you can focus on fighting it afterward.
Kingpaca does not have that many uses at a base but having him in your team will increase your carrying capacity and it can be helpful in a fight.
