Kelpsea Ignis is the Fire Variant of Kelpsea, which offers Fire Attacks instead of its original variant’s Water Attacks.
This Fire Pal doesn’t just use Fire Attacks though, it also learns Dragon Attacks, which can be utilized by mixing and matching its Active Skills.
This variant of Kelpsea is a Fire Pal that offers Kindling instead of the Watering Work Suitability Skill and can be kept at a ranch to generate a certain material from Fire Pals.
Kelpsea Ignis Location
Kelpsea is mainly found scattered around Mount Obsidian but it can also be seen around the volcanic area near Verdant Brook.
- Verdant Brook (359, -10)
- Mount Obsidian (Northeast)
Kelpsea Ignis Uses
Kelpsea Ignis is a Fire Pal that can fight alongside you to deal Fire Damage and even Dragon Damage depending on what Active Skills you equip it with.
When at your base, Kelpsea Ignis will seek out any structures that require fire and provide Kindling to them, which is often for heaters, cooking stations, and furnaces.
It can act as a supporting Pal as keeping it in your party will increase the amount of damage that other Fire Pals can deal to your foes.
You may assign a Kelpsea Ignis at a Ranch, which will cause it to produce Flame Organs that you can collect for later use.
Partner Skill
Kelpsea has the Lava Spout Active Skill, which will increase the attack power of Fire Pals that are in your party.
This will work for any Fire Pal that is in your party, including other Kelpsea Ignis that have also been added to the party.
Having more than one Kelpsea Ignis in your party will provide even more bonus attack power as this stacks with each one in your party.
Work Suitability
Kelpsea Ignis is a Fire Pal and won’t provide water like its original variant but it will provide fire to structures that need Kindling.
- Kindling (Level 1)
Possible Drops
Kelpsea Ignis Drops
- Raw Kelpsea
- Flame Organ
Alpha Kelpsea Ignis Drops
- Ancient Civilization Parts
- Raw Kelpsea
- Flame Organ
- Precious Entrails
- Ring of Flame Resistance
Verdict
While Kelpsea Ignis is capable of dealing Fire Damage, this Pal is mostly used as support and kept within a party to boost another Fire Pal. (Sometimes more Kelpsea Ignis are kept in the party)
If you don’t have any other Pals to provide fire at your base, Kelpsea can be used as a good substitute until you find one with a better level of Kindling.
Just like its original variant, Kelpsea Ignis drops Raw Kelpsea and instead of providing you with Pal Fluids, this Fire Pal will produce Flame Organs.
