In Palworld, you can encounter a Dark Dungeon Boss named Katress, Phantasmal Feline a Level 23 Dark Pal that attacks you the moment it notices you lurking around.
This Dungeon Boss appears as a humanoid Pal with increased intelligence, capable of dealing a lot of damage to those who aren’t ready.
Players may choose to fight this Dungeon Boss to get loot or to capture it and add it to their party of damage-dealing Pals.
Katress Location
Katress spawns in a dungeon located at (242, -331) called the Sealed Realm of the Invincible, which can be found in Marsh Island.
You will need to enter the dungeon to find Katress and once you go near it, this Dungeon Boss will turn aggressive and will begin to attack you.
Fighting Katress, Phantasmal Feline Location
Katress will attack you with Dark and Fire attacks but its main element is Dark, which makes it weaker against Dragon Attacks.
Watch out for when it slowly approaches you as this is when it will attempt to use Shadow Burst to discharge Dark Damage in an area surrounding it.
It also uses the Flare Arrow (Fire), Ignis Blast (Fire), and Dark Ball (Dark) regardless of how far you are from it, which makes it wise to dodge when you can.
As with any other Pals, especially with Katress being a humanoid one, headshots will deal increased damage to it.
Katress Dungeon Boss Drops
After entering the Sealed Realm of the Invincible and fighting Katress, you may defeat or capture it to obtain the following:
- Ancient Civilization Parts
- Leather
- Precious Pelt
Verdict
Katress may appear to be calm and move slowly but during a fight, it can jump backward and will often attempt to unleash its attacks.
It is important to have a Pal fighting alongside you as Katress will focus its relentless attacks on you if you try to fight it alone.
Capturing Katress can be a good idea since having it summoned will allow you to farm extra loot from Neutral Pals.
