One of the most sought-after Field Bosses on Palpagos island is Jetragon, an iconic endgame flying Pal that players want to get their hands on.
Attempting to fight this Field Boss during the earlier parts of the game will often end with you getting killed since this Dragon Pal is Level 50 when you encounter it.
Jetragon, the Legendary Celestial Dragon remains to be one of the strongest and most useful Pals in the game but before you can get it, you will have to survive a fight against it.
Jetragon Location
Jetragon can be found around the west part of Mount Obsidian at around (-788, -320) where you will often see it flying around the area.
This Field Boss can be found if you head north from the Beach of Everlasting Summer waypoint or west from the Ruined Fortress City.
Fighting Jetragon, Empress of the Abyss
Jetragon has a whole arsenal of attacks that it can use to take down its enemies, which makes the fight deadly for those who don’t have good equipment.
It has the Spirit Fire, Flare Storm, and Fire Ball Attacks that deal fire damage while its other attacks include Dragon Burst, Draconic Breath, and Dragon Meteor which deal Dragon Damage.
Jetragon will be able to use its Exclusive Skill called Beam Comet, which causes it to unleash multiple projectiles in front of it.
It is advisable to have a Pal fighting alongside you unless you have a Rocket Launcher with a lot of ammo as this can send Jetragon tumbling around.
The best element to use against Jetragon would be Ice Attack since Dragon Pals are weak against it and if you aim for this Pal’s head, you will deal critical damage.
During the fight, you may want to switch between Pals when one is about to get killed, which makes it important to plan out which ones you will bring beforehand.
