Hangyu is a Ground Pal that seems to be very light in that it doesn’t have trouble staying afloat in the air and may even carry heavier objects.
This Pal is often seen in deserts and is often found in small groups if not alone, but they should not be taken lightly as they tend to attack humans.
Capturing a Hangyu can be a big help to players as they can help with bases and provides you with a boost to your Glider that lifts you up.

Hangyu Uses
As a Ground Pal, it would be expected that Hangyu would have more Ground Attacks, but it seems to have Neutral attacks and even Grass ones as well.
Hangyu may also be added to your base to craft items or build structures and may even collect crops from Plantations to store them elsewhere.
Its Partner Skill allows Hanyu to boost your glider, giving you the ability to increase your altitude while you are gliding.
Hangyu Partner Skill
Hangyu’s Partner Skill is called Flying Trapeze, which provides a boost to the performance of the Glider that you currently have equipped. (Requires Hangyu’s Gloves)
This will cause your character to be lifted higher when you are gliding, which can be a great way to regain altitude and this can be great for avoiding enemies or reaching high areas.
Hangyu does not have to be your active Pal for Flying Trapeze to take effect as you simply need to have the Pal in your party.
Hangyu Work Suitability
Hangyu’s strength allows it to carry items more efficiently and it can also help when it comes to other tasks in your base.

Verdict
Having Hangyu in your party can help you get around when you need to increase your altitude while gliding, especially when you don’t have any flying Pals yet to get around.
Dismounting a flying Pal and gliding while Hangyu is in your party will allow you to continue ascending as long as you have stamina, which can help you avoid falling.
