Best Flying Pals

While there are different Flying Pals to choose from and each of them has its stat which players often get used to, these come as popular choices for flying Pals.

1) Jetragon

Jetragon is the fastest Flying Pal in the game and if you want to easily get around without trouble, this is a Pal you don’t want to miss out on.

Featuring not only the fastest speed among Flying Pals, Jetragon also offers a good amount of offense with its many powerful attacks.

One of Pal’s most iconic features is its ability to fire several rockets when you are riding it, which causes enemies to ragdoll all over the place.

2) Faleris

Often seen during your fight at the Tower of the PIDF, Faleris is an amazing Flying Pal to have, especially if you are into Fire Pals.

Faleris remains one of the fastest bird-like Pals that you can use to get around and offers a good amount of offense in battle.

Adding more to this Pals use is its ability to get you more loot from Ice Pals when you are fighting alongside this Flying Fire Pal.

3) Beakon

Beakon is an Electric bird-like Pal that you often encounter after you have progressed a bit and it serves as a good upgrade from Nitewing and Vanwyrm if you have such Pals.

What makes Beakon unique is not only its speed, but also features several Electric Attacks that can be used to stun enemies.

Riding Beakon will cause your attacks to deal Electric Damage, giving you more damage against Water Pals and even providing you with a good chance to stun enemies.

4) Ragnahawk

Ragnahawk has been known to be one of the most awesome-looking flyers in the game but looks are not everything with this Pal.

Capable of learning more than just Fire Attacks, this Pal can be utilized in fights and has a decent flying speed to get you around.

When you are mounted on Ragnahawk, your character’s attacks will have fire damage applied to them, allowing you to deal more damage to Ice and Grass Pals.

5) Frostallion

Frostallion is one of the tougher Pals to capture in the game but provides several benefits as a Flying Ice Pal if you manage to capture one.

This Pal is the perfect mount to have when you want a good amount of speed and love to deal Ice Damage to your enemies since it changes your attack to Ice and boosts all Ice Damage.

The downside with Frostallion is that it cannot hover over water, which makes it necessary to land to regain stamina, unlike other Pals that can hover over water.

Boosting Flying Pal Speed

Through breeding, you can pass on certain Passive Skills and there are a good few that you can choose from if you want to have a fast mount or simply want to give it a small boost.

  • Legend (+20% Attack, +20% Defense, +15% Movement Speed)
  • Swift (+30% Movement Speed)
  • Runner (+20% Movement Speed)
  • Nimble (+10% Movement Speed)

Verdict

There are many Flying Pals on Palpagos Island and while some may be great to have, there are some that can be more useful than others, especially when it comes to flying.

You can always boost the movement speed of your Pals through breeding, which will save you more time when you are flying around.

Using Flying Pals to get round is a good way to reach fast travel waypoints faster and can be an advantage in a fight against certain enemies.
