Palworld Felbat Boss (Location, Drops, Weakness & Defeating)

The Felbat Dungeon Boss is one of the stronger variants of a similar Pal that is known as the Gloom-shrouded Bloodsucker.

Fighting this Dark Pal can be dangerous for lower level players but the rewards can be useful for later when you progress through the game.

Felbat Location

Felbat location map

Felbat can be encountered on the Forgotten Island within the Sealed Realm of the Abyssal Nights dungeon (-411, -56) on the southeast part of the island.

The Forgotten Island can be found north of the Bamboo Groves and you can reach the dungeon by traveling north from the Azurobe Hill waypoint.

Fighting Felbat, Gloom-shrouded Bloodsucker

Felbat will be Level 23 and at this point, it will have the Spirit Flame, Shadow Burst, Dark Ball, and Poison Blast Active Skills. (All Dark Damage)

During the fight, Felbat will attempt to launch projectiles at you and will often approach you to unleash Shadow Burst.

Since Felbat is a Dark Pal, Dragon attacks will deal more damage to it and headshots will also deal increased damage.

This Dungeon Boss appears to attack faster than other bosses that you may have faced since it uses whatever Active Skill is available, which makes it important to dodge.

Felbat Dungeon Boss Drops

Defeating or capturing Felbat the Gloom-shrouded Bloodsucker will allow you to obtain the following items from it:

  • Ancient Civilization Parts
  • Cloth
  • Precious Pelt

Verdict

Felbat can attack you from a great distance but will often approach you to use Shadow Burst, which makes it vulnerable at times.

Players tend to defeat this Dungeon Boss whenever they are at the Forgotten Island as this is a way to get Ancient Civilization Parts for items that can be crafted later.

Capturing Felbat is sometimes done by others who want to have Life Steal active as this is the Partner Skill provided by this Pal.
