Eikthyrdeer is a Neutral Pal that is most likely based on Eikthyrnir, a majestic stag from Norse mythology.
This Neutral Pal can be encountered near some starting areas as well as in more difficult regions, which results in higher-level Pals.

Eikthyrdeer Uses
Eikthyrdeer can be added to your base and will attempt to farm Wood for you, which can be done at a Logging Site or if it finds nearby trees within range of your base.
These Neutral Pals can be used as mounts that you can ride to explore or fight other enemies in battle as you can fire weapons or use their active skills.
While Eikthyrdeer is often encountered at lower levels, you will eventually be able to find stronger ones or level up ones, which will grant it stronger attacks.
Partner Skill
Eikthyrdeer has the Guardian of the Forest Partner Skill, which not only allows you to ride it but also provides you with certain bonuses.
Even without the Eikthyrdeer’s Saddle (Key Item), you will benefit from an increase in tree-cutting efficiency, which allows you to deal more damage to trees to obtain materials faster.
Once its saddle has been unlocked and crafted, you will be able to perform a double jump while riding Eikthyrdeer.

During the earlier stages of the game, you may run into Eikthyrdeer and these are usually found in pairs and will run away from you but they will retaliate if you attack one of them.
Capturing an Eikthyrdeer can be difficult for starters, which makes it important to reduce their health drastically and to use better spheres.
Having an Eikthyrdeer early during the game will provide you with a lot of Wood once you have crafted a Logging Site, and eliminated the need to chop trees on your own.
