Palworld Best Mining Pals Guide

Palworld has a lot of materials that need to be obtained for your craft, build, and progress to become stronger and have a better base.

Not all of the materials should be gathered by your character since this can be tedious, especially when it comes to the mining structures at a base.

This is where Mining Pals come in, being the best solution to have your base produce materials that you need over time as they do the mining for you.

Palworld Mining Pals List

Best Pals for Mining

While there are several Pals that are capable of mining, the more valuable resources can only be gathered by Pals that have a Mining Work Skill of 3 and 4.

Among all of the Mining Pals in Palworld, these have been proven to be the best and most useful of all when it comes to efficiency.

1) Anubis

Anubis Pal

Anubis may not have the highest skill when it comes to mining, but this Pal can be obtained very early when you start the game, making it easy to breed too.

With a Level 3 Mining Skill, Anubis can gather all the Ore, Coal, and Sulfur that you will need with the bonus of being able to help out in your base.

Anubis is not just capable of Mining, this Pal is also great for crafting and transporting items, allowing it to do more in a base.

2) Blazamut

Blazamut Pal

Blazamut is one of the best Mining Pals in the game and this is because it has a high level when it comes to the Mining Work Skill. (Level 4)

Choosing Blazamut Ryu is also a good choice since these Pals are practically the same aside from the type of damage that they have.

What makes Blazamut and Blazamut Ryu perfect for a base is that they won’t just mine, they can also help when it comes to smelting.

3) Astegon

Astegon Pal

When it comes to destroying Ore Nodes, there is no doubt that Astegon is one of the most efficient Pals to have on your team.

This Pal can destroy a whole field of Ore Nodes with a single attack but this is only helpful if you do not have structures to produce Ore and other materials that can be mined.

Assigning Astegon to your base will allow it to mine from these structures, which is very useful since its Mining Work Skill is Level 4.

4) Digtoise

Digtoise Pal

If you have just started and have reached areas such as the Twilight Dunes, you may have encountered this large tortoise with spikes.

This Pal is one of the best early-game mining pals since you can leave it to mine the materials you need and come back to get a huge amount.

Eventually, you may want to swap Digtoise out with other Pals but when it comes to progressing, you won’t want to miss out on having a few of these.

5) Knocklem

Knocklem Pal

One of the newer Pals introduced in the Sakurajima Update, Knocklem is efficient at mining materials from certain structures.

What makes Knocklem stand out regardless of it only having a Level 3 in Mining is that it has a high level of Transporting, making it effective at moving items from one place to another.

This gives you a Pal that can mine, transport the items mined and even stand tall and defend your base when it is being attacked.

Verdict

During the earlier stages of the game, you may end up with one of the weaker Pals when it comes to mining but as you progress a bit you can always capture new ones to replace them.

Anubis can be bread earlier than most Pals (Breed Penking with Bushi) and is extremely useful for more reasons than just mining.

Having a single structure for mining is good enough to provide you with a large supply after some time, especially if more than one Pal works on it. (Having a separate mining base works too)
