Anubis is a popular Ground Pal that is known well for its agile speed and powerful strength as well as its resemblance to an ancient Egyptian God.
This Pal is not only favored for its ability in battle but also because it is one of the best workers you can have at your base.
Players will often encounter Anubis after progressing through the game but due to its high level, capturing can be tedious, which makes them resort to breeding.
How To Get Anubis?
Head to the Statue of Anubis and you should see him roaming nearby. There will also be a chest that spawns beneath the statue if you feel like getting extra items.
Anubis won’t be that aggressive until it is attacked and once the fight begins, he will continue to toss Ground attacks your way and will often perform a quick dodge.
Aim for his head to deal as much damage as possible and get his health down before throwing either an Ultra Sphere or Legendary Sphere.
How To Breed Anubis?
Players can get Anubis earlier in the game by capturing a Penking and a Bushi, which can later be assigned to a Breeding Farm.
Penking and Bushi are guaranteed partners that will end up with a Huge Rocky Egg, which Anubis will hatch from.
Anubis Location
The Anubis Field boss can be found in the Twilight Dunes, which can be found in the Twilight Dunes roaming around a statue of itself.
You can find the Anubis Spawn Location around (-131, -95) and this can be found closest to the Cold Shore, Sealed Realm of the Winged Tyrant, and Mount Flopie Summit waypoints.

Guardian of the Desert
When you and Anubis are fighting together, your attacks will have Ground damage applied to them, which will allow you to deal more damage against Electric Pals.
Additionally, Anubis can quickly perform a dash that allows it to get out of the way of certain attacks and this is done on its own whenever it notices a threat.
Anubis Work Suitability
Anubis has work suitability with Handiwork, Transporting, and Mining, which makes him a great worker at your base.
This Pal can craft items quickly, carry items to storage, and mine valuable materials such as Ore, Coal, Sulfur, and more.

Anubis Drops
Defeating Anubis will often cause it to drop materials such as Bone, Large Pal Soul, and Innovative Technical Manual.
Fighting the Field Boss Variant may cause it to drop Precious Entrails, Ancient Civilization Parts along with some of the other materials.
