Palworld offers you the freedom to build in most areas but sometimes it can be a hassle if you build in the wrong spot, and this may make it harder for you or your Pals to reach it.
The best option for you would be to move a structure that you have placed in a bad spot to a better one, but this doesn’t work out the way everyone expects it to.
Without a main method for moving structures, you will have to resort to rebuilding them after you have demolished one that you have already built.
Can You Move Structures?
Unfortunately, there is no option to move structures exactly, but this can still be done in a way that involves demolishing the structure and rebuilding it.
This, however, does not cost you any additional resources since demolishing the structure will allow you to collect the materials that were used to build it.
The only downside is that if you don’t have enough weight, the materials that are returned to your inventory will slow you down or prevent you from moving. (Be sure to unload first)
How To Rebuild Structure in Another Location?
To rebuild a structure in another location, you will first need to go into Disassembly Mode and demolish the structure. (This returns the resources to you)
If you can carry all the resources and need to move around, you should place them in storage as you will be able to pull the resources when you build.
Now that the old structure is gone and you have the materials to build it again, open your build menu, select the structure, and place it in its new location.
How To Move Incomplete Structure?
If you have started to build a structure or have only placed it down but have decided to move it elsewhere, you can always cancel the building process.
Once a structure has been placed down and has not been built yet, you cannot use Disassembly Mode to remove it but instead, you may approach and cancel it.
Approaching a structure that has not yet been built will allow you to see the Cancel option, which requires you to hold the Crouch to confirm this.
Verdict
The ability to move fully built structures is not an option now but it may be possible that players will have this feature in the future if the developers decide to add it.
For now, your best bet is to demolish and rebuild the structures in the new place you want them to be, and this goes for rebuilding a whole base if needed.
Keep in mind that having a nearby storage container is ideal to make sure your items can be stored to prevent them from despawning.
