Mammorest Cryst is the Ice Variant of Mammorest, which has its appearance changed to mimic the snow while its tusks and other protruding parts appear as ice/crystals.
With Mammorest Cryst being an Ice Pal, its Grass Active Skills have been replaced by Ice Attacks but it still retains some of its Ground Attacks as well.
This Pal may be a great companion for for boss fights and if you are exploring hotter areas but you may want to keep out of the colder environments to avoid freezing to death.

To obtain a Mammorest Cryst through breeding, there is a guaranteed chance that assigning a Mammorest and a Wumpo will provide you with an egg that can be hatched.
Mammorest Uses
If you are into Ice Pals, you will want to add Mammorest Cryst to your team since they are powerful and have access to both Ice and Ground Attacks.
This gives them a chance to freeze enemies and with two elements at its disposal, this Pal can be effective against more than one type of enemy.
Mammorest Cryst can gather Wood and destroy Ore Nodes, making it great for a base or if you are out farming certain materials.
Partner Skill
Mammorest Cryst has the Ice Crusher Partner Skill, which is similar to its original variant’s Gaia Crusher as this improves the efficiency of destroying trees and ore nodes.
This takes effect as you are mounted on this Ice Pal and at the same time, you can also use it’s the attacks that it has equipped when you see fit.
To ride Mammorest Cryst, you will first need to unlock its saddle via the Technology Menu and craft it afterward.

Since Mammorest Cryst is an Ice Pal, summoning it in hotter areas will allow you to avoid burning up but in the cold, you may suffer from freezing to death.
Just like with the regular Mammorest, defeating a Mammorest Cryst will provide you with many materials, which include a lot of High Quality Pal Oil.
Capturing a Mammorest Cryst may be the faster way to have one with a high level but if you are not ready to take it on, you can always resort to breeding.
