Jormuntide is a Dragon and Water Pal that appears as a majestic water dragon, which can be found roaming one of the lakes on Palpagos Island.
This Pal makes its appearance as a Field Boss that you may challenge but those who are not yet ready will end up getting crushed by this powerful water dragon.
Players who are capable of capturing Jormuntide will be able to utilize it as a better way to get across water or a deadly weapon to unleash in battle.
Jormuntide Location
Jormuntide does not have any regular variant spawning around the island but you may encounter it as a Field Boss in one of the lakes located at (-176, -267) in the Bamboo Groves.
Jormuntide Uses
Jormuntide has both Dragon and Water Active Skills, which increase as it gains level but it will also be able to use Tri-Lightning.
This Pal can be a great choice for a mount if you decide to swim across the water as you can continue without losing stamina as well as the fear of drowning.
Players who decide to keep Jormuntide at their base will benefit from its high Watering Skill, making it easier to tend to Plantations as well as to power certain structures.
Partner Skill
Jormuntide’s Partner Skill is called Stormbringer Sea Dragon, which allows you to ride Jormuntide across the water if you have crafted its saddle.
While riding Jormuntide, you will be able to use your weapons to attack enemies or use the Pals Active Skills that it has equipped.
While swimming across the water, Jormuntide’s stamina will not be drained like other Pals who are not capable of flawlessly swimming.
Work Suitability
Jormuntide is only capable of providing water to structures at your base when it has been assigned to it as a worker but it is more effective than other Pals at doing this.

Verdict
Jormuntide is one of the more feared Field Bosses found in the game since most of the area around it is surrounded by water, which may force your character to swim.
Having Jormuntide at your base will provide all your Plantations with enough water and will be a big help when it comes to fighting off raid parties.
Jormuntide is one of the Pals required to breed a Jormuntide Ignis, which serves as its Fire Variant, featuring a different set of Active Skills.
