To win this contest against the veteran comedian, you will need to tell the right jokes and get applause from the audience.
Where To Find Harvard Willoughby?
You can find Harvard Willoughby inside the Elfsong Tavern by heading inside and turning to the right from the entrance.
He will be performing in front of an audience from the top of a stage and from there, you can speak with him to start the challenge.
How To Win The Laff Riot?
There are two ways for you to win the Laff Riot and this includes either choosing the right jokes to tell or intimidating the crowd.
The correct jokes to tell are the following:
- Willoughby the comedian, folks! Were his jokes good, or did he just smell funny?
- I tried sleeping with a dragonborn the other night, but it didn’t work out – he had reptile dysfunction.
- Our cleric tried to cast Healing Word on a ham, but it was already cured.
This will result in you gaining applause from the crowd and Willoughby telling you to leave as he doesn’t want you to steal his job.
Intimidation works too but this will require that you pass Ability Checks, and this yields the same results at the end.
Once you have won or lost the contest, you will not be able to do it again unless you decide to load a saved game.
Laff Riot Rewards
The only reward you get from the Laff Riot is applause from the crowd and bragging rights as there is not a lot of experience granted as a reward.
Verdict
Harvard Willoughby is an experienced comedian, but it looks like he can learn a thing or two from you and is concerned about you replacing him.
While there is no reward for winning the Laff Riot against Willoughby, it is still fun to tell a few jokes, and some are funny.
