After arriving at the Emerald Grove, doing a bit of exploring can wind up with you meeting a Tiefling bard named Alfira.
As you approach this bard, you may notice that something is causing her distress, which is of course finding her tune.
By speaking to Alfira, you can help her out with finishing her song and this not only lets you witness a beautiful cutscene, but rewards may come later as well.
How to Help Alfira?
Once you find Alfira, you will be able to hear her singing, but she keeps pausing and seems to be stuck on one of her notes.
By speaking to Alfira, you can help her out by finding her next words to use through some of the dialogue options available.
This is rather easy and will eventually result in her being able to sing her song, which brings you into a cutscene where she performs it at the grove.
Where To Find Alfira?
You can find Alfira once you enter the Emerald Grove and she can be located up one of the pathways that you take to the right before reaching the Secluded Cove.
From where you are blocked by the group of druids, high north, and take the first right to reach Alfira at her practice area.
The Weeping Dawn
The Weeping Dawn is a song that Alfira is working on, which she considers a sort of tribute to her teacher, who is no longer with her.
Alfira’s teacher was killed during an attack, and she remembers this all too well but looks to her music to keep her teacher’s memory going.
Alfira Rewards
While helping Alfira during Act I seems to not provide any rewards, you get to enjoy her beautiful song once you help her out.
Most players think nothing happens after, but you can later find her at the Last Light Inn, where she may reward you if you have completed the Save the Tieflings quest and if you save Lakrissa.
Alfira may reward you with the following:
- Potent Robe (Very Rare Clothing)
- 464 Gold
- Scroll of Haste
- Cloudkill
- Barkskin
- Potion of Greater Healing
- Arsonist’s Oil
- Potion of Speed
- Acid Vial
- Smokepowder Bomb
Verdict
You must head to Alfira as soon as you reach the grove as you may not get the chance later once you progress to Act II.
The Potent Robe that Alfira gives you has several benefits, such as Gregarious Caster which provides additional damage with cantrips based on your Charisma.
While Alfira does not do much during the story, taking the extra time to help her out with her song provides you with a decent number of rewards later.
