Palworld may be full of amazing Pals but there are also hunters from different factions that tend to capture and possibly harm them.
These Pals can often be seen in enemy camps, and you may even notice a depressed expression on their faces as they long for freedom from their captors.
While some may tend to look the other way, you can make a choice and save these Pals, who will be glad to join you instead of running back into the wild.
How To Find Enemy Camps?
Before you can go and rescue a Pal, you will need to first find a camp where one is being held captive and these may be found all over the island.
One good way to spot an enemy camp from afar is to look for the smoke rising from the camp and head to its location.
Enemy camps will often spawn in the same area and the Pals that are held captive will sometimes be different, allowing you to get a new species from time to time.
How To Rescue Pals
Rescuing Pals involves 2 steps, which are to first clear the enemies and afterward free the Pal from the cage it is being held in.
Defeat Enemies
Depending on what region of the map you are in, there will be different enemies that you will face and more difficult areas will have higher level foes.
You will need to head into the camp and defeat the enemies that are stationed there as this will allow you to safely approach the captured Pal.
Defeating these enemies will not only provide you with a clear way to get to the Pal, but you also get experience and may pick up any loot that they drop.
Release Pal
Once the area has been cleared of enemies, you may now free the Pal by heading to its cage and interacting with the Lock.
This will require that you hold the designated button to interact with the lock and after a short duration the cage will be opened.
After the cage has been opened, the Pal will be added to your Party or sent to your Palbox just as if it was freshly captured with a sphere.
Verdict
Rescuing Pals is one of the activities that you can do in Palworld to get multiple rewards, which is a good way to kill time while waiting for things in your base to be done.
This activity allows you to get a Pal for free, get experience from enemies, and possibly loot for each enemy that is defeated.
The species of the Pal will often be related to the location where the enemy camp, which is a hint that they mostly just capture Pals near their camp.
