Where To Find Shadowheart?

While Shadowheart joins you aboard the Nautiloid (If you save her), you will eventually be split up and find her later on the beach at the crash site of the ship.

Shadowheart will be lying down and unconscious, where may stumble upon her and wake her up to get her to join your party or camp.

If you ignore Shadowheart, she will eventually turn up later still in her pod at the beach or later in Druids’ Grove.

Once you find Shadowheart on the beach, you may interact with her to begin a cutscene where the two of you discuss what has happened.

Shadowheart will decide to join you since both of you have Mind Flayer Parasites inside of your heads, making it best to find a solution together.

Speaking with Shadowheart will be enough to get her to join you and if you don’t do this at the beach, you will eventually be able to recruit her at Druids’ Grove.

If you skip out on recruiting her at Druids’ Grove, Shadowheart will wind up finding your camp and will join you there.

Shadowheart Uses

Shadowheart is a Cleric that begins with the Trickery Domain, giving her a focus on Illusion Magic that can often be used to confuse enemies.

This includes Class Actions such as Blessings of the Trickster for improving stealth and Invoke Duplicity to distract enemies.

Her ability to use various healing spells and buff your party can be essential in fighting enemies, especially tougher opponents.

Nightsong Points

Nightsong Points are a part of Shadowheart’s secondary approval system which affects how the ending of Act II plays out during the Find the Nightsong quest.

A total of 6 Nightsong Points may be obtained through certain actions that occur during the first two acts of the story.

These include the following:

  • Successful Religion Check after her flashback
  • Picking “Sounds Like Abuse” Dialogue
  • Religion/Persuasion Check after her wound flashes for the fourth time
  • Convincing Shadowheart to eat the Noblestalk
  • Giving Shadowheart the Night Orchid
  • Allowing Shadowheart to activate any of the 3 trials in the Gauntlet of Shar

Shadowheart Romance

Shadowheart may be romanced by both male and female characters and will show approval mostly when it comes to her privacy but also when your character is open-minded.

She dislikes it when her privacy is being invaded and does not like being pushed to answer questions when she is not in the mood to give them.

She takes her worship towards Shar very seriously and is against those who disapprove of it but above all else, she dislikes unnecessary violence and cruelty to others.

Verdict

Shadowheart is one of the more favorable companions to have due to her attitude and players love how she plays a part in the whole story.

Those who prefer to have a class that can heal and protect will be able to make use of Shadowheart and even use her as a tank from time to time.

Altering Shadowheart’s abilities will allow you to further customize what kind of spells she may use depending on what your team needs most.
