How To Heal Your Characters?

1) Healing Potions

Baldur’s Gate 3 has several potions and elixirs that may be used by your characters; some of the most important ones are healing potions.

These include the Potion of Healing, Potion of Greater Healing, and more, which you may often find or may even craft if you have the materials.

Potions can be consumed by characters that have them in their inventory and may even be thrown at other characters to heal them from a distance.

2) Spells

Using Spells that provides healing

Certain classes have spells that may be used to support your party, and these include spells that provide healing.

Spells such as Cure Wounds, Prayer of Healing, and more may be used to heal members of your party but these will consume Spell Slots and must be used wisely.

Depending on which spell is used, healing may be provided by a certain amount and will affect either one or multiple characters.

3) Resting

Resting is one of the ways that you can heal your characters as well as restore additional skills, moves, and more that your characters may use.

To rest, you simply need to select the Camp and Resting Menu at the bottom right of your screen, which opens your options.

Short Rest will restore 50% of your Hit Points and spell slots while a Long Rest will restore you to full health and all your spell slots your Short Rest counts. (You can do 2 Short Rests per Long Rest)

Verdict

Healing is crucial when it comes to continuing your adventure and it is best to use a Long Rest when all your other options are used up.

Long Rests will often advance certain parts of the story and may trigger certain events, which makes it important to take notice of what quests or events are active.

Eventually, you will be able to collect several Potions of Healing and ingredients to make your potions have a good supply of items to restore your health.
