After you have progressed from either the Underdark or the Rosymorn Monastery Trail, you will eventually find yourself going to the Shadow-Cursed Lands.
It is here that you will find yourself surrounded by darkness without a place to take shelter in but eventually, you will be able to get to the Last Light Inn.
This can be done in two ways depending on which path you have taken to get to the Shadow-Cursed Lands and the methods are slightly different.
Last Light Inn Location
The Last Light Inn is located around the northern part of the Shadow-Cursed Island and is easily accessed from the Underdark-Grymforge path.
Taking the paths from the Mountain Pass (Rosymorn Monastery Trail) will allow you to reach the Last Light Inn but may prove to be more difficult.
How To Reach The Last Light Inn?
Rosymorn Monastery Trail Path
Traveling to the Shadow-Cursed Lands from Grymforge in the Underdark will bring you to the northeast part of the region.
From here you may travel towards a bridge that will result in you meeting a group of Harpers who spot you approaching.
At first, they are edgy upon seeing you but later you join forces to fight back against the Shadows that have taken one of their own.
After coming out victorious, Harper Lassandra will mark the location of the Last Light Inn before heading off with her group.
You may then follow the group or head to the location marked on your map, which should be labeled as the marker for a quest called “Seek Protection from the Shadow Curse.”
Underdark Grymforge Path
If you take the path found in the Rosymorn Monastery Trail, this will lead you to another side of the Shadow-Cursed Lands.
From here, you will first encounter some of the Absolute’s followers and will be told to summon a Drider guide named Kar’niss.
If you follow Kar’niss, he will be leading you to Moonrise Towers believing that you are a True Soult that follows the Absolute.
As you are being escorted, a group of Harpers will ambush the caravan, and you will have the option to side with them.
Siding with the Harpers will allow you to obtain the location of the Last Light Inn, where you are told to go to seek shelter.
Verdict
Reaching the Last Light Inn does not only provide you with safety, but it is also good for obtaining more quests and experiencing more content.
The fate of the Last Light Inn depends on how you act when you arrive as a certain quest involving a cleric named Isobel determines if the inn is taken over by darkness or if it survives.
Exploring the Last Light Inn and completing quests in the Shadow-Cursed Lands is a good way to prepare for the challenges that lie ahead when you reach Moonrise Towers.
