Moonrise Towers is one of the locations in the Shadow-Cursed Lands that you need to make your way to, and this is mentioned as early as Act I.
Heading to Moonrise Towers is not going to be that easy since there is a curse in the land that will eventually kill you if you do not have protection from it.
There are a few ways for you to get to Moonrise Towers as soon as possible and your choices along the way will determine who you are with as you progress.
Moonrise Towers Location
Moonrise Towers is located to the south of the left side of the Shadow-Cursed Lands (southwest) and will require you to pass through areas where the curse is present, and enemies lurk.
As you progress through the Shadow-Cursed Lands, you will eventually reach Moonrise Towers where General Ketheric Thorm sits on his throne.
How To Get To Moonrise Towers?
Last Light Inn Path
If you have headed to the Shadow-Cursed Lands coming from Grymforge, you will be on a path that causes you to encounter the Harpers.
You and the Harpers will be attacked by shadows and will need to fight them together before they invite you back to the Last Light Inn.
After progressing with the quests around the Last Light Inn following the main story, you will eventually be asked to join the ambush on the Drider’s Caravan.
This will result in you obtaining the Moonlantern, which will allow you to travel to the Moonrise Towers safely through the Shadow-Cursed Lands.
Drider Caravan Path
If you take the path coming from Rosymorn Monastery (Mountain Pass), you will end up possibly meeting a Goblin who escorts you to a caravan.
The caravan is a group of followers of the Absolute and if you decide to join them (this may be temporary if they are your enemies), you will be asked to play the Spider’s Lyre.
Playing the Spider’s Lyre will summon a Drider named Kar’niss, who wields a Moonlantern and he will serve as your guide and bring you to the Moonrise Towers.
As you are being escorted, you will be ambushed by the Harpers, which allows you to switch sides and take the Moonlantern.
Siding with the Harpers will eventually get you to the Last Light Inn with the Moonlantern in your possession and you may continue your quest from there.
If you decide to stick with the Drider, you will have to slay the Harpers, and this will eventually allow you to continue making your way to the Moonrise Towers with the caravan.
Verdict
Making your way to Moonrise Towers is inevitable since this is the only way you can progress to Act III later once you have continued your main quest.
Siding with the Drider will often have dire consequences, such as you fighting the Harpers and your side changing to be one of the Absolute.
If you decide to go with the Harpers, Last Light Inn becomes a safe zone for you but dangers and challenges still lie ahead.
