How To Get Sorrow (Rare Glaive) in Baldur’s Gate 3

Your adventures in Baldur’s Gate 3 can lead to you finding a lot of useful loot and one of them is a weapon that can help you close gaps between you and your enemies.

We’re talking about the Rare Glaive called Sorrow, which allows you to cast the Sorrowful Lash Cantrip that pulls enemies toward you.

Obtaining this is as simple as completing quests throughout Act I, where you can get this Rare Glaive in multiple ways.

Sorrow Glaive Special Features

Sorrow provides the character who equips it with the Sorrowful Lash (Bonus Action) Cantrip, which allows you to pull targets toward you.

Sorrowful Lash will deal damage to a target and pull them 3 meters closer to you as long as your character can handle the size.

As a Bonus Action, Sorrowful Lash may be used before or after an attack and will recharge every turn that your character has.

Where To Find Sorrow Glaive?

Sorrow can be found within the Hidden Vault, which may be reached by opening a hidden entrance inside the Enclave Library.

This can be found once you reach Emerald Grove and may be accessed by solving the puzzle within the room.

You will eventually obtain the means to enter the Hidden Vault if you rescue Halsin, side with the grove when it is attacked by Minthara, or loot Rath.

How To Get Sorrow Glaive?

Sorrow can be found in plain sight once you get into the Hidden Vault within the Enclave Library and this is done by solving the puzzle within the library.

You will need to obtain the Rune of the Wolf from Rath by either completing quests that Halsin sends you to get your reward from Rath or loot it from his body.

This will depend if you have decided to join the grove or raid it, which will alter whether you may freely obtain the loot from the Hidden Vault or steal it.

Verdict

Sorrow can be a useful weapon when it comes to a fight since you can displace enemies, bringing them closer to you or putting them into a tough situation.

While you may need to progress in Act I before you can get Sorrow, there won’t be much of an issue since all you need to do is follow the story and save Halsin.

Not only is Sorrow useful against enemies, but you can also use this Rare Glaive to pull objects to you if the wielder can handle the heaviness of the object.
