The Sakurajima Update changed a lot of things in Palworld and it also added new items, which includes the Meteor Launcher.
This weapon fires a special type of bullet, which is a large round made from Meteorite Fragments that causes a huge explosion.
This weapon can be obtained earlier than most weapons thanks to the Ancient Technology Tree and you can use it to boost your progression in the game.
How To Unlock Meteor Launcher?
The Meteor Launcher can be unlocked once your character reaches Level 37 and may be unlocked in the Technology Menu.
Unlocking the Meteor Launcher will require you to spend 3 Ancient Technology Points, which can be obtained in various ways.
Meteor Launcher Crafting Materials
The Meteor Launcher may be crafted in a Weapon Assembly Line as well as the higher tier weapon crafting stations.
Crafting the Meteor Launcher will require the following materials:
- 100 Meteorite Fragment
- 30 Refined Ingot
- 20 Paldium Fragment
How To Use Meteor Launcher?
Just like a Rocket Launcher, you can equip the Meteor Launcher in one of your weapon slots and equip it by going through your weapons.
Firing the Meteor Launcher will require a Meteorite Bullet for each shot despite its description saying that it requires Gatling Gun Bullets.
Once equipped, you can fire the Meteor Launcher to create a devastating explosion, which has a purplish bright glow color that matches the Meteorites that hit Palpagos Island.
How To Get Meteorite Bullet?
The Meteorite Bullets that are needed by the Meteor Launcher do not have to be unlocked and instead, they will be available at a Weapon Assembly Line or better crafting stations.
Each Meteorite Bullet will cost 2 Meteorite Fragments, which can be obtained from Meteorites that crash down on Palpagos Island as well as from certain Pals.
Verdict
The Meteor Launcher is one of the strongest weapons in the game, but it doesn’t have any upgraded variants as other weapons do.
It is still a powerful weapon that can help you take on stronger enemies and be a good way to get you through the game.
Saving the Meteorite Fragments that you get instead of using them to make Paldium Fragments will provide you with the means to make a lot of Meteorite Bullets later.
