The Gloves of Dexterity are a Very Rare pair of gloves that boost their wearer’s dexterity to a certain amount, improving the capabilities of certain classes.
Certain characters in Baldur’s Gate 3 will need a high amount of dexterity and while some already have a good set of stats, certain builds may benefit from more than one main stat.
If you have a character that requires additional dexterity, obtaining this pair of gloves is a good way to meet the requirements you need for such builds.
How To Get Gloves Of Dexterity?
The Gloves of Dexterity can be obtained during Act I, where you find yourself exploring the Githyanki Creche as one of the paths heading to the Shadow-Cursed Lands.
Within the Githyanki Creche, you will find an NPC named A’jak’nir Jeera, who sells several items, including the Gloves of Dexterity.
A’jak’nir Jeera Location
A’jak’nir Jeera may be found to the south of the Creche Y’llek waypoint and may be spoken to once you have gained access to the location.
It would be best to get your hands on these gloves as soon as you reach the Githyanki Creche as you won’t be able to get them if the location is destroyed or if you reach Act III.
Gloves of Dexterity Uses
The Gloves of Dexterity boost its wearer’s dexterity to 18 regardless of what their class is or what build they have.
This can be a great way to increase the dexterity of a character who requires the start but doesn’t have that many points invested in it.
Characters that are 18 or higher dexterity will not gain any bonus from using this, making it better to equip these gloves with very little of this stat.
Verdict
This pair of Very Rare gloves can be a game changer, especially if your character requires more dexterity to complete their build or benefit from certain bonuses.
Equipping this on characters that already have a high amount of dexterity won’t be that useful unless you are trying to get them to have specifically 18 in the stat.
Dexterity is useful for characters who focus on ranged attacks or use finesse weapons as this affects their attack roles along with other skills.
