How to Get Cloth & It’s Uses in Palworld

Cloth is one of the common materials that is processed from Wool and is needed for crafting as well as building in Palworld.

As it says in its description, Cloth is required for armor and this goes all the way toward the early and mid-game equipment that you will be using.

Aside from using this material for making armor, you will also need it to craft certain structures and furniture that can be used at your base.

How To Get Cloth?

Using Primitive Workbench to make a cloth in the game

Cloth is obtained through crafting, which requires you to have a Primitive Workbench or a High Quality Workbench to make them.

When crafting Cloth, you will need 2 Wool per piece and this can be left on a workbench to be crafted by Pals that have the Handiwork Work Suitability.

While having more than one workbench can be a good way to craft several items, you can always leave a lot of crafting and come back for it later. (Make sure a Pal is handling it before you leave)

Pals That Drop Cloth

Certain Pals may drop Cloth when they are defeated and while not all are guaranteed, some drop them more often regardless of the chance.

The following Pals may drop Cloth when defeated:

  • Azurobe (1-3 100%)
  • Croajiro (1-2 25%)
  • Felbat (1-2 100%)
  • Selyne (1-2 100%)

Cloth Uses

Cloth is mainly used for crafting some of the earlier armor that you wear, which will offer you a decent amount of Defense and Health Points.

Aside from being used for armor, Cloth is also required for crafting certain structures such as the Pal Gear Workbench, and equipment such as gliders.

Later on, there will be better structures like the Finer Bed that can be crafted but most of the time, the Cloth that you have set aside will come in handy for repairing your armor.

Verdict

Mass crafting a lot of Cloth is essential for making armor repairs early on but it is also one of the materials needed for furniture.

Eventually, you may want to decorate your base, which can be fun if you have a lot of this material to spare once you have unlocked different kinds of decorations.

Sooner or later you will be focusing on making High Quality Cloth but it is still good to have regular Cloth just in case you need some to craft or build.
