Ancient Civilization Cores are one of the newer items that were introduced with the Sakurajima Update, which are very rare to obtain.
These can only be obtained by participating in some of the most challenging activities in the game, which are Oil Rig Raids and Raid Boss Fights.
This material has a connection to Ancient Civilization Parts, which explains its use in making some of the higher-tier items and structures in Palworld.
How To Get Ancient Civilization Core?
1) Defeating Raid Bosses
One of the earliest ways for you to get Ancient Civilization Cores is to defeat Bellanoir or Bellanoir Libero, which requires you to obtain their slabs and use them to summon these Raid Bosses.
This can be done by first obtaining their slab fragments by doing dungeons and opening the chests at the end but chests found around the Palpagos Islands may also have some.
Placing the slab into a Summoning Altar at a base (empty base recommended) will summon the Raid Boss, which you will be able to fight to obtain loot, including Ancient Civilization Cores.
2) Rayne Syndicate Oil Rig Raid
The Rayne Syndicate Oil Rig was added to Palworld with the introduction of the Sakurajima Update, which revealed a large oil Rig right to the southeast of Palpagos Islands.
Traveling to this oil rig will allow you to raid it but this involves getting past the rig’s defenses and locating a Golden Chest.
The Golden Chest may be opened, providing you with random loot that will have Ancient Civilization Cores in an amount that ranges from 1 to 5.
Where To Find Rayne Syndicate Oil Rig?
The Rayne Syndicate Oil Rig may be found to the southeast of Marsh Island, which can be reached by crossing the ocean.
You may fly your way to the rig but will need to be careful as there are laser defenses that will target you if you are on a Pal.
A good technique to reach it would be to dismount and swim and mount your Pal again to repeat this every time a laser is about to be fired.
Uses of Ancient Civilization Core
Ancient Civilization Cores are required for some of the newer items that were added to the game when the Sakurajima Update came out.
This includes the crafting of two items as well as building one structure, which are the following:
- Ability Glasses (5 Ancient Civilization Core)
- Electric Egg Incubator (5 Ancient Civilization Core)
- Ultra Shield (30 Ancient Civilization Core)
