The Ability Glasses are one of the useful accessories that you can often get during the later parts of the game, which can be essential for capturing Pals.
These allow you to view the different stats of a Pal, which can be used to determine what kind of Passive Skills they may have.
You can get this accessory once you have progressed to the point where you can start taking on more powerful challenges and will be helpful as you plan on catching more Pals.
How To Get Ability Glasses?
Ability Glasses may be crafted at any tier of the Production Assembly Line once you have unlocked it from the Ancient Technology Menu once you reach level 34.
You will need a key material to craft this accessory, which is the Ancient Civilization Core (5 are required) but the earliest time you can get these is when you fight Raid Bosses.
Once you have all the materials needed, you can craft and later equip the Ability Glasses into one of your Accessory Slots.
Crafting Ability Glasses requires the following materials:
- 30 Refined Ingot
- 20 Paldium Fragment
- 10 Ancient Civilization Parts
- 5 Ancient Civilization Core
Uses of Ability Glasses
Once the Ability Glasses have been equipped, you will notice that the Pals you see on your screen will have additional information displayed.
This will show a scale of 0 to 100 on how much Health, Attack, and Defense a Pal has, which can help you get an idea of what Passive Skills they may have.
An example of this would be a Pal with a very high amount of the Attack Stat, which can be a hint that it may have Passive Skills such as Ferocious or Musclehead.
Verdict
While most would have expected that the Ability Glasses would show the Passive Skills of Pals, this is not what happens but it is a good way to give you a clue on what they might have.
If you are worried about the Ability Glasses taking up space from your Accessory Slots, you will be able to unlock 2 additional slots with purchases from a Medal Merchant.
It is a good idea to keep the Ability Glasses in your inventory and switch them with an accessory whenever you need it since you can swap them back afterward.
