Following the events that happened in the Shadow-Cursed Lands, you will eventually make your way to Act III and a certain Mol has previously gone missing.
You will most likely have last seen her being captured during the assault on the Last Light Inn, where she was snatched by a Winged Horror.
Mol isn’t gone though as you get the quest called Find Mol that begins as soon as you complete the Resolve The Abduction quest that happens in Act II.
How To Find Mol in Act 3?
At first, you may think that Mol can be found in the Mind Flayer Colony as her eyepatch can be found in the Necrotic Laboratory but it turns out she will appear in Act III.
Finding Mol is as easy as exploring the Lower City as you will eventually end up in the Lower City Sewers where the Guildhall can be found.
If you look around the Guildhall, you will find Mol thriving off her new business as she now works there with her partner Sticky Dondo.
Speaking to Mol will allow you to discover that she was able to escape after being captured and this led to her making her way to Baldur’s Gate.
Mol Location in Act III
Mol can be found in the Guildhall, which is where The Guild runs their operations and serves as their hideout. (Led by Nine-Fingers Keene)
The Guildhall is in the Lower City Sewers, which is accessible through various locations, and one of the best ways to get there is to head to the Heapside Strand.
Speak to Tusgront near the Heapside Strand and you can pass an Ability Check that will result in him opening a path for you that leads to the Guildhall.
Returning Mol’s Eyepatch
It is possible to return Mol’s Eyepatch if you found it in Act II, which adds a bit more to the dialogue that you have with her.
This does not do much but instead just adds a bit more to the story before she redirects you to Sticky Dondo, who you can purchase stolen goods from.
If you bring the eyepatch after you have already spoken to Mol, the option to return it to her will no longer be available as this must be done the first time that you speak.
Sticky Dondo
Sticky Dondo claims that Fetcher is not feeling well, which has led to him running the shop in the shop for him.
You can purchase items from Sticky Dondo and some of the best ones to look out for are the Shade-Slayer Cloak and the Supreme Elixir of Arcane Cultivation.
Verdict
Mol may be a small Tiefling but it looks like she has gone through a lot, which includes the fall of Elturel and this made escaping Moonrise Towers easy for her.
Now that Mol has made her way to Baldur’s Gate, she has started to thrive with The Guild and may later join you in the fight against the Elder Brain.
It would be wise to avoid telling her about Raphael if you happened to have killed him as this will upset her and ruin your relationship.
