BG3: Dammon Location in Act 2 & Items For Trade

Dammon returns in Act II of Baldur’s Gate 3 after surviving the events of the first attack, which allows you to not only purchase equipment from him but also make use of his skills.

Being the only Infernal Blacksmith in the entire game, Dammon becomes an important NPC to interact with when it comes to Infernal Iron as well as if you want to help Karlach.

While your first moments in the Shadow-Cursed Lands may seem to be in a region full of death, there is one place where our Infernal Blacksmith friend has taken refuge.

Once you reach Act II, you will be able to find Dammon at the Last Light Inn, with his blacksmith set up near a barn.

You may head to Dammon as soon as you reach the Last Light Inn and make use of his services once you have spoken to him.

Crafting Equipment With Infernal Iron

Crafting Equipment

If you happen to have Infernal Iron or items that are like it, these may be given to Dammon in Act II to create the following items:

  • Flawed Helldusk Armor
  • Flawed Helldusk Gloves
  • Flawed Helldusk Helmet
  • Orthon Explosive

The Hellion Heart Quest

There will be a moment when Karlach needs to speak to you, which will reveal that her Infernal Heart is getting worse, which requires you to find Dammon.

Once you meet Dammon at the Last Light Inn, a cutscene will begin when you speak to him with Karlach in your party.

Dammon will soon inspect Karlachs heart (he listens to it closely) and will offer to work on a bit of it if you can provide an Infernal Iron.

Mentionable Items For Trade

Dammon might still have some of the trash you might have sold him during Act I, which makes it necessary to check his wares carefully for something you may have missed.

The following are some items that you might be interested in which he sells in Act II:

  • Charge-Bound Warhammer
  • Darkfire Shortbow
  • Harmonium Halberd
  • Sword of Clutching Umbra
  • Sword of Life Stealing
  • Swordmaster Gloves
  • Thermodynamo Axe
  • Thorn Blade

Verdict

It is good to keep an eye out for Dammon during your story as he has some useful gear that can go well with certain builds for your character.

Dammon is a necessary NPC for progressing Karlach’s Quest and upgrading her infernal heart, making upgrades impossible if he were to die.

Ensuring that Dammon survives Act I and II will allow you to meet him later in Act III once you and your party reach Baldur’s Gate.
