One of the locations in the Lower City reintroduces a character that you may have met at Moonrise Towers but this depends on whether you interacted with her in Act II.
This area is known as the Crimson Draughts and it appears to be abandoned but if you go ahead and explore the area, you might find that there is more to it than meets the eye.
The Crimson Draughts holds a secret where experimentation lies beneath it and once you explore what lies below, you can get your hands on some useful Alchemy Items.
Crimson Draughts Location
The Crimson Draughts may be found to the southwest of the Lower City Central Wall waypoint and is quite noticeable as it looks like an explosion took place.
Speaking to Araj Oblodra will reveal that it was your blood that was used in an experiment that caused the explosion.
What Can Be Found in The Crimson Draughts?
Within the Crimson Draughts main building, there is not much to be found but old belongings and a key (Crimson Draughts’ Hatch Key that leads to the basement).
The first floor includes items such as ingredients and leftover clothing, but more is to be found in the basement which is accessible through a hatch that can be found after a flight of stairs.
Proceeding into the basement will reveal that some experiments have taken place in a place called the Sanguine Laboratory and you can even find a Giant Spider and the body of a Spectator.
The area has several different Alchemy Ingredients that you may lose, which may come in handy if you plan on crafting items later.

Araj Oblodra
Araj Oblodra may be at the Crimson Draughts regardless if you gave her blood and will offer you a mysterious potion after you speak to her and follow her inside.
Drinking the potion will give you the Unstable Blood passive, which causes your blood to become flammable and burst whenever it comes in contact with fire.
This can be useful in certain situations such as if you bleed during a fight and wish to set your enemies on fire if they are standing in your blood.
You will also be able to donate blood to her, which causes her to restock Sanguine Explosives that you can use to scatter blood, dealing Force and Fire Damage in an area.
Verdict
If you missed interacting with Araj Oblodra in Moonrise Towers, you won’t run into her when you go to the Crimson Draughts.
Gaining the Unstable Blood passive may sometimes be useful but can also be an advantage at times, which makes it best to plan things.
Giving Aja Oblodra blood will allow you to purchase Sanguine Explosives from her, which she stocks once per long rest.
