How To Craft Carbon Fiber & Its Uses in Palworld

Carbon Fiber is one of the materials in Palworld that you can craft and is later used for advanced equipment that becomes available as you progress.

While this resource may be needed in the late game, you can still obtain more of it early on to craft whatever becomes available based on your level.

Even if this resource is sought out after you have progressed, you can easily craft it by choosing one of two recipes that it has.

How To Craft Carbon Fiber?

crafting Carbon Fiber at a Production Assembly Line

Once you have a Production Assembly Line, you will be able to start crafting Carbon Fiber after unlocking it in the Technology Menu.

Carbon Fiber becomes available in your Technology Menu once you have reached Level 35, while the Production Assembly Lines can be unlocked at Level 28.

This material can be crafted with either 2 Coal or 5 Charcoal, which gives you a choice on what material you want to use if you are saving another.

Pals That Drop Carbon Fiber

There are certain Pals that will drop Carbon Fiber when defeated and although this is not the best way to get a lot of this material, it might be worth keeping in mind.

Pals that drop Carbon Fiber include Jetragon which drops 5 Carbon Fiber and Shadowbeak, which drops 2 – 3 Carbon Fiber.

Best Way To Get Carbon Fiber

The best way to make a lot of Carbon Fiber is to craft it with Charcoal, which is because you can easily get wood with a Logging Site and process it in a furnace.

Making Carbon Fiber with Charcoal or Coal will be the same and this includes crafting speed and resources used.

Having a better furnace and adding Pals with good levels of Handiwork will speed things up greatly, especially when using a Production Assembly Line.

 Carbon Fiber Uses

Carbon Fiber is known to be used to craft some of the later weapons that you will be able to unlock, which will give you a huge advantage when it comes to damage.

Other uses are for equipment and even structures that replace the more primitive variants that you owned during the earlier parts of the game.

You will need Carbon Fiber to build or craft the following:

  • Ultra Sphere
  • Giga Glider
  • Pump-action Shotgun
  • Electric Medicine Workbench
  • Legendary Sphere
  • Electric Furnace
  • Assault Rifle
  • Rocket Launcher

Verdict

Since you are given the choice to craft Carbon Fiber with Coal or Charcoal, you can use this to your advantage to save up on one of the materials.

Carbon Fiber will be useful once you hit higher levels but if you have the materials needed in advance, you won’t have to go out farming every time you need it.

Even after you have built all the necessary structures that need Carbon Fiber, it would be good to save up on this material just in case you have weapons that need to be repaired.
