Lifmunk is a Grass Pal that is known to be sacred on Palpagos Island, which is why there are Lifmunk Effigies that can be found in several areas.
These Pals are known to run away as soon as they sense danger and will even try to escape after being attacked to the point where they disappear.
Catching one of these Pals will provide you with a hard worker or a cute buddy who can fight alongside you, and later can shred your enemies with a submachine gun.

Lifmunk Uses
Lifmunk is one of the earliest favorites players may have in their base as these can be assigned to plantations to provide you with crops.
They can also help out when it comes to gathering wood from nearby trees or if they are assigned to a Logging Site and may also craft medicine.
Not only are these Pals great in a base, but you can also have them in your party and use their Partner Skill to have them fire a submachine gun while you attack.
Partner Skill
Lifmunk has the Lifmunk Recoil Partner Skill, which can be activated to equip them with a submachine gun while they hop on your back.
While Lifmunk Refoil is active, the Lifmunk will fire it’s submachine gun wherever you are aiming when you attack.
This gives you additional damage whenever you are attacking and this will occur regardless if you are using a melee or ranged weapon.
