If you have fully explored Mount Obsidian, you may have seen the spawn location of a certain Field Boss called Blazamut.
Blazamut is a Level 49 Fire Pal known as the Cursed Tyrant who you can fight in an attempt to defeat or capture the massive Pal.
The fight against the Cursed Tyrant may be dangerous for those who are not well-prepared but a lot of experience will be obtained along with materials if you succeed.

Blazamut’s spawn location is found at (-441, -562) on the east side of Mount Obsidian but to get to this Field Boss, you must go through the Scorching Mineshaft.
The entrance to the Scorching Mineshaft can be found at (-434, -531), which is a bit to the north of Blazamut’s spawn location.
Fighting Blazamut, Cursed Tyrant
Blazamut can be found in the mineshaft sitting down and won’t notice you until you attack or pass in front of this Field Boss.
It may use the Power Shot (Neutral), Ignis Blast (Fire), and Stone Blast (Ground), which all have short cooldowns and this allows it to continuously attack you.
If you are within range, Blazamut will use Ignis Breath (Fire) to unleash a flamethrower-like attack against and from time to time.
Watch out for Ignis Rage as this causes several explosions in an area but this can be avoided early since you will be able to see where they will go off.
Whenever the Fire Ball Active Skill is ready, Blazamut will unleash this upon you at any range but this can be avoided by doing a few quick dodges.
Blazamut takes extra damage from Water Pals since it is a Fire Pal and if you aim for its face as well as parts around its neck, this will deal critical damage to the Field Boss.

Bounty Token
Defeating Blazamut (Cursed Tyrant) will reward you with the Blazamut Bounty Token, which provides you with Fire Damage Enhancement. (Large)
Verdict
While Blazamut is one of the stronger Field Bosses that you can fight on Palpagos Island, the experience that it gives you is great for leveling up your Pals.
Most of Blazamut’s attacks can easily be avoided by running around and this will give you the chance to shoot at it while you do this.
If you plan on capturing Blazamut, you might want to take a few Legendary Spheres with you since this Field Boss won’t give up without a fight.
