Dinossom Lux, Guardian of Lightning is one of the endgame Field Bosses that you will encounter on Palpagos Island that will provide you with a great amount of experience and some materials.
This Field Boss is the Electric variant of the regular Dinossom and can be found within a mineshaft located in the north of Palpagos Island.
While this Pal may seem to be passive at first, challenging this Level 47 Field Boss can sometimes be difficult even for those who have progressed in Palworld.
Dinossom Lux Location
You may find Dinossom Lux in the Dessicated Desert, where its spawning point is around (351, 537) inside of a cave called The Furthest Mineshaft.
The entrance to the Furthest Mineshaft is around (350, 562) and is found north of the mountain in the Dessicated Desert.
Fighting Dinossom Lux, Guardian of Lightning
Dinossom Lux won’t do anything even if you walk right up to it, which gives you a good amount of time to pick out which Pal you want to use to fight it.
Once you have made the first attack, this Field Boss will start to unleash all of its attacks upon you, which are mainly Electric Active Skills.
During the fight, Dinossom Lux will often use the Shockwave and Plasma Tornado Electric Attacks while also attempting to use other attacks in between them.
Dinossom Lux will be able to use Botanical Smash (Grass), which is an Exclusive Skill that allows it to use its tail to smash the ground with its tail, dealing damage to a wide area.
Its other attacks include Lightning Strike (Electric), Tri-Lightning (Electric), and Draconic Breath (Dragon), which it will use once the cooldowns are finished.
Being an Electric and Dragon Pal, Dinossom Lux is weak against Ground and Ice attacks but also takes increased damage from headshots.
It is best to keep your distance and kite this Field Boss while your Pal attacks it as this will help you conserve ammo and avoid taking too much damage.

Capturing Dinossom Lux can be useful for later as it is a great Pal to fight alongside you or may be assigned to your base to generate electricity as well as defend it from enemies.
Choosing either a Ground or Ice Pal will allow you to deal increased damage to Dinossom Lux since it has two elements, making it also have two weaknesses.
Unlike most of the Field Bosses that you fight, Dinossom Lux appears to have longer intervals in between its attacks and will try to approach you, giving you time to get some attacks in.
