The Dessicated Desert is full of many Suzaku but one of them stands out due to its higher level and because of its large size.
Known as the Ruler of the Crimson Dawn, this Level 45 Suzaku can be found flying around the desert as it waits for its next victim to incinerate.
Suzaku, Ruler of the Crimson Dawn is one of the late-game Field Bosses that players may challenge once they reach the Dessicated Desert.
Suzaku Field Boss Location
You may find Suzaku in the Dessicated Desert to the south of Duneshelter at (403, 254) which is closest to the town’s waypoint.
Suzaku can be found flying around the area and will often be a bit further from the exact spawn location but still within view distance.
Fighting Suzaku, Ruler of the Crimson Dawn
During the fight, Suzaku will come at you with numerous Fire Attacks but before anything happens, you will need to attack or be noticed by this Field Boss.
After you have damaged Suzaku, it will drop to the ground and continue fighting you from the surface, giving you a chance to hit it with your other attacks.
It will often use Air Cannon (Neutral) and Ignis Blast (Fire) as its main attack while performing other Fire Attacks such as Spirit Blast and Flare Arrow. (Fire Attacks)
You will want to watch out for its Fire Attacks called Ignis Breath, which is pretty much a flamethrower while Flare Storm is a set of two Fire Tornadoes that travel forward.
Water Attacks will deal more damage to Suzaku since it is weak to such attacks while aiming for its head with ranged attacks or weapons will deal critical damage to it.

The battle in the Dessicated Desert with Suzaku can result in you capturing or defeating it to obtain experience along with the following materials:
- Ancient Civilization Parts
- Flame Organ
- Precious Plume
Verdict
Suzaku does not become aggressive the moment it sees you but if you are within a certain range from it, the battle begins and this is something to keep in mind before you attack.
Water Pals can deal a great amount of damage to Suzaku but it is important to watch out how much is dealt and put them away if you intend on capturing this Field Boss.
This Field Boss can provide you with a lot of experience that can help you level up while its additional materials can be set aside for later.
