If you have come across the Broncherry Field Boss, you might be surprised to find out that there is a Water variant that you may encounter as well.
Broncherry Aqua, also known as Waves of Summer is a Level 30 Field Boss that can be found in a non-dungeon cave around the Bamboo Groves.
Defeating this large Water and Grass boss will provide you with several materials, including an important one for Plantations.
Broncherry Location
The Broncherry Aqua can be found in the Bamboo Groves and spawns at (-166, -448) but to reach this Field Boss, you will need to enter from the Shoal Mineshaft.
You may find the entrance to the Shoal Mineshaft (-141, -433) just to the east of Broncherry Aqua as it will be at the same level as the water. (You will see Surfents swimming around as well)
Fighting Broncherry, Waves of Summer
Broncherry Aqua will attack you once you have made the first mood and it will be able to use both Water and Grass attacks during the fight.
Its Water attacks include Bubble Blast (Water), which sends multiple projects that track you as well as Aqua Gun (Water), which sends a quick projectile forward.
It also uses Grass attacks such as Seed Mine to release a projectile that spreads mines that explode when you step on them.
Another attack used by Broncherry Aqua is Spine Vine, which causes thorns to follow their target and pierce them from under.
Muscle Slam is an attack that it shares with Broncherry, which allows the massive Field Boss to slam into you after it turns sideways.
Keep your distance from Broncherry Aqua to have an advantage when it comes to dodging, especially if it attempts to slam into you.
Headshots can deal increased damage but this is only from its front and if you have an Electric Pal, attacks to it will be more effective.
Broncherry, Waves of SummerDrops (Field Boss)
Broncherry Aqua drops multiple items when defeated or captured, which includes additional items that a regular Broncherry doesn’t:
- Ancient Civilization Parts
- Broncherry Meat
- Lettuce Seeds
- Precious Dragon Stone
Verdict
While the Broncherry Aqua is also considered a Water Pal, it still takes increased damage from Fire Attacks since it is also part Grass Pal.
Taking Electric and Fire Pals is a good way to quickly defeat the Broncherry Aqua, especially if you fight alongside them with ranged weapons.
Due to having a higher level, the Broncherry Aqua can use several Active Skills, regardless of Pals are often limited to only having 3 of them.
