When traveling around the Bamboo Groves, you might stumble upon the Beakon Field Boss known as the Wings of Thunder.
This Field Boss will be Level 29 when you encounter it and will be extremely aggressive once it feels threatened by you or your Pals.
Attacking you with electrifying attacks, this Field Boss can prove to be quite a challenge due to the damage it can continuously deal.
Beakon Location Map
Beakon can be found in the Bamboo Groves south of the Deep Bamboo Thicket waypoint and can be seen flying around.
Its spawn point can be found at (-345, -254) under a large dome made from rocks that are covering the area where it flies.
Fighting Beakon, Wings of Thunder
Beakon shares a similarity to other flying Pals but attacks you mainly with Electric Skills aside from the common Air Cannon (Neutral) Active Skill that most flyers have.
It can send out quick Electric projectiles with Spark Blast or send out a line of lightning strikes that move forward with Lightning Streak.
There will be times that Beakon will attempt to close in on you and unleash its Shockwave Active skill, which deals Electric Damage around it.
You may choose to fight it while on a flyer but your stamina will usually go down, making it better to ground it by damaging it before continuing the fight at a lower altitude.
Beakon takes extra damage from Ground attacks as well as headshot damage if you can hit it in the head with ranged attacks.
Beakon Field Boss Drops
Players have the option to defeat or capture Beakon, which will allow them to obtain the following items afterward:
- Ancient Civilization Parts
- Electric Organ
- Precious Plume
Verdict
Beakon will often continuously unleash its attacks and this makes it important to deal as much damage as you can when its attacks are on cooldown.
Fighting and defeating Beakon can reward you with a lot of Precious Plume, which can be sold for extra Gold Coins.
As with other Field Bosses, Beakon can be defeated now and then to provide you with Ancient Civilization Parts that are needed for crafting advanced items.
