Players are introduced to Cloth during the earlier stages that they go through in Palworld and eventually, they will be able to unlock High Quality Cloth.
High Quality Cloth is an upgraded version of Cloth and is used for much better armor as well as structures that may be crafted.
Just like with Cloth, High Quality Cloth will require a certain amount of Wool and may be crafted once the proper workbench has been built.
How To Craft High Quality Cloth?
1) Crafting at Workbench or Product Assembly Line
To craft High Quality Cloth, you will first need to unlock it in the Technology Menu and this becomes available once you reach Level 36.
Once you have unlocked this material for crafting, you will be able to make it in a High Quality Workbench or a Production Assembly Line.
For each piece of High Quality Cloth, you will need to have 10 Wool, which can be obtained by defeating certain Pals or by having it produced at a Ranch.
2) Produced By Sibelyx at Ranch
High Quality Cloth can be produced by other materials when you assign a Sibelyx to a Ranch in your base, which the pal will drop the material from time to time.
This is a good way to passively gain the High Quality Cloth without the need to obtain the materials that are needed to craft it.
Having a Pal nearby that has the Transporting work skill will allow them to pick up any dropped High Quality Cloth and place it in a nearby available storage container.
High Quality Cloth Uses
When it comes to some of the more advanced armor and structures that you may craft, High Quality Cloth will be required instead of regular Cloth.
This makes High Quality Cloth an important material used for repairing any armor that has been crafted with it.

Verdict
While High Quality Cloth requires that you progress more with your character’s level, this is not needed until you have gotten further into the game.
Since High Quality Cloth is crafted with a lot of Wool, it would be best to have at least 1 Ranch with a Pal that can produce Wool at one of your bases.
Keeping a stock of this material is necessary until you craft the armor that you will be using and may later be saved for making repairs.
