Wandering Merchants are a good source of High Quality Pal Oil as long as you have the Gold needed to buy it from them.
You can purchase High Quality Pal Oil from Wandering Merchants for 300 Gold each, which may be a bit expensive if you need a lot but worth it if you wish to speed things up.

3) Assigning A Dumud To A Ranch

One of the best places to farm High Quality Pal Oil would be in the Bamboo Groves as you can often find Relaxaurus, Bronchery, Dumud, and Woolipop in various areas.
The spawn rate of Relaxaurus and Woolipop is high in most areas in the Bamboo Groves, making it easy to farm a good amount in minutes.
This is best done when you are on a Pal that can fly and attack other Pals that you encounter along the way to get High Quality Pal Oil.
High Quality Pal Oil Uses
High Quality Pal Oil is often used early on as a material required for crafting some of the earlier guns that you can unlock such as the Musket, Makeshift Handgun, and regular Handgun.
It can also be used to craft a Weapon Assembly Line, which will get you started on crafting some of the better guns in Palworld.
