This simple Egg is an ingredient and is not to be confused with the larger and more colorful ones that you find in the wild.
The source of this product is from the Chikipi that you find roaming around but to get it from these Pals, things may get a bit messy.
However, capturing a Chikipi to keep as your own will allow you to get an unlimited supply of Eggs if you utilize the Pal correctly.
How To Get Eggs?
As cruel as it may be, the earliest and possibly only way for you to get Eggs is by taking down a Chikipi and this is usually easy to do since low-level ones spawn at the starting point.
Defeating a Chikipi (Or catching it) is known to often give you Chiki Poultry as well as an Egg, making it necessary to take down a lot if you want to get these resources.
If you have decided to capture a Chikipi, you can assign them to a Ranch (they often do this on their own) and this will cause them to produce eggs over time.
Other Pals that are capable of picking up items will often deliver these Eggs to a Feed Box, giving you an endless supply. (A Ranch can be unlocked and built once you reach Level 5)
Egg Uses
Eggs can be eaten raw and this will provide you with 16 Nutrition per piece that you eat but this isn’t the only use for this consumable as it is also an ingredient for different recipes.
The following are the recipes that require Eggs:
- Fried Egg
- Carbonara
- Eikthyrdeer Loco Moco
- Fried Chikipi
- Fried Kelpsea
- Omelet
- Rushoar Bacon ‘n’ Eggs
Verdict
While Eggs may not be easy to come by during your first few steps of the early game, once you get a Ranch up and going and have a few Chikipi, you should be good to go.
Eggs can be cooked early on as well, which makes its recipes good for Nutrition until you come by other kinds of food that will have better effects.
With an unlimited supply of Eggs thanks to a Ranch, you can start feeding your Pals other kinds of food, especially Fried Egg as this helps restore their sanity by a small amount.
