Palworld has your character running around gathering resources, building your base, and of course, capturing Pals that you find in the wild.
The thing is, not every Pal is easy to capture and as their levels and rarity increase, these wild creatures become harder to capture with a sphere.
To become more adept with capturing Pals, you will need to begin by finding an Uncommon Key Item called Lifmunk Effigy.
How To Get Lifmunk Effigy?
Lifmunk Effigies can be found all over the land but these can only be picked up one time and you will have to search elsewhere to find more.
These strange statues have a glowing green color, which makes them easier to spot at night but you can still see them from afar during the day.
A good way to search for a Liffmunk Effigy would be to go to a high or clear area and look around, which is even better done at night.
One of the best ways to find these statues is to fly around on a Pal such as the Nitewing, which will give you the advantage of having a better view. (Do this at night to easily spot the statues)
Lifmunk Effigy Uses
You will need Lifmunk Effigies once you have built the Statue of Power, which is said to allow you to enhance your abilities by making sacrifices.
In this case, the sacrifice that needs to be made is a certain amount of these statues and this begins with you having to provide one Lifmunk Effigy and more afterward.
Currently, these are used at the Statue of Power to increase your Capture Power, which increases the success rate of your being able to capture Pals.
This is important for when you start to reach higher levels and begin to hunt down more powerful Pals to capture and add to your collection.
Verdict
During the beginning of the game, it will appear that any Pal can easily be captured as you should not have too much trouble catching anything around levels 1 to 15.
As you continue to gain levels and journey out forward from the Plateau of Beginnings (starting area), you will find that some Pals seem impossible to capture.
This makes it necessary to collect as many Lifmunk Effigies as you can and enhance your Capture Power at the Statue of Power.
