If you have already made it to Act III and are still wondering how to complete the Find The Nightsong quest, it can be done once you reach the Lower City.
You may recall this quest starting back in Act I and later continuing once you make it to Act II and release Dame Aylin but things don’t stop here.
A man named Lorroakan was the person who had put up a reward for anyone capable of retrieving the Nightsong and it was now time to confront him.
Where To Find Lorroakan?
You can find Lorroakan at the Sorcerous Sundries in the Lower City but he won’t exactly be there, instead it will just be his projection.
To find Lorroakan, you will need to head upstairs where another projection will greet you and this time, portals will appear.
How To Confront Lorroakan?
Entering the portal on the very left will take you to Ramazith’s Tower, where you will meet the real Lorroakan and speak to him about the Nightsong during a cutscene.
Lorroakan will ask you about the Nightsong and you can decide if you will turn her in or if you will choose to side with her. (You can say that you will think about it first)
You may then head to your camp and tell Dame Aylin about this, which will result in her heading to Ramazith’s Tower to confront Lorroakan.
If you avoid doing anything after meeting with Lorroakan, you will eventually be found by Aradin and he along with others will attack you.
After the attack, this leads to Dame Aylin asking you about the attackers and who sent them, which results in her also heading to Ramazith’s Tower.
Heading back to Ramazith’s Tower will start a cutscene where Dame Aylin confronts Lorroakan about his intentions, which eventually leads to a fight.
You may decide here whether you will side with Dame Aylin or you will betray her and side with Lorroakan, who wishes to take her immortality by imprisoning her. (Similar to Ketheric)
Choosing a side will end up with you having to fight either one of them and once the battle is complete, the Find The Nightsong quest will be complete.
Siding With Dame Aylin
If you choose to side with Dame Aylin, you will fight Lorroakan and his Elemental Myrmidons, which can be a bit tough. (So make sure you choose your party members wisely)
This will have Dame Aylin fighting alongside you and she will be capable of dealing a lot of damage but may also easily be killed if you don’t help her out.
Siding With Lorroakan
Should you choose to betray Dame Aylin, she will summon Moonlight Slivers (Celestial creatures) that will aid her in the fight.
The Moonlight Slivers can be quite deadly but you may still have the upper hand since there are a lot of you and Lorroakan is a strong wizard.
Rewards For Completing Find The Nightsong
If you choose to side with Dame Aylin and end up killing Lorroakan, she will fight alongside you (Isobel too) in the final battle as part of the Gather Your Allies quest.
Betraying the Nightsong and defeating her will result in Lorroakan joining you instead in the final battle, which includes the use of the Ramazith’s Tower’s Fireball Mortar.
Verdict
Encountering Aradin at the Sorcerous Sundries will eventually trigger the event where he and the other mercenaries invade your camp, regardless if you have spoken to Lorroakan.
Regardless of who you choose to side with, there will be a difficult battle that requires you to prepare carefully which characters you use and make sure they have leveled up.
It is a bit strange that Dame Aylin does not summon the celestials when you decide to side with her, but her strength alone can be quite the force to reckon with.
