Where To Find Harold? (Rare Heavy Crossbow)
You can get this Rare Heavy Crossbow in the Zhentarim Basement, which is where you will find Zarys, who rewards you with Harold if you meet certain conditions.
The Zhentarim Basement can be found by accessing the storage building at Waukeen’s Rest, an inn that has recently been attacked by Goblins in the Risen Road.
How To Get Harold? (Rare Heavy Crossbow)
To get Harold, you will need to make sure that the shipment that Rugan and Olly are transporting arrives at the Zhentarim Basement.
You will encounter Rugan and Olly at the Risen Road and may help them out as they are under attack from a group of Gnolls.
Defeating the Gnolls will result in Rugan and Olly thanking you, which can lead to you letting them be, taking, or stealing the shipment.
To ensure that you obtain Harold, you must make sure that Rugan and Olly are left with the shipment, which they will deliver to Zarys.
Upon arriving at the Zhentarim Hideout and speaking to Zarys, she will reward you with the Rare Heavy Crossbow and even give you access to Blem’s Secret Shop.
Verdict
The Harold Rare Heavy Crossbow is a decent weapon to have in your arsenal, especially when you get lucky with certain attacks as this can give enemies a disadvantage when Bane is applied.
Even if you deliver the shipment to Zarys on your own (after persuading Rugan to let you have it), you won’t be able to obtain Harold and will encounter Rugan being tortured and Olly dead.
Aside from the Harold Heavy Crossbow being a reward, Brem’s Secret Shop will be available for you to access to purchase valuable items.
